AMAZING ATHLETES WITH COACH BRIAN

Each session begins with an ice breaker game to get your child adjusted to the screen and their coach. Our coaches are trained to ask questions for the kids to interact with other children, such as what color shirt are they wearing or have all get an object and show and tell. We start the classes with our energetic warm ups and stretches along to age appropriate music. Amazing Athletes will go over the basics of 10 different sports (football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, golf, tennis, and track and field) with the use of at home items. Don’t have a football? How about a pair of mom or dad’s rolled up socks! Don’t have a hockey stick? How about a broom! We also will utilize at home items such as cups, paper plates, couch pillows, and t-shirts for our exercises and obstacle courses. Each class will also learn and act like the animal of the week and learn about a food for nutrition. You don’t want to miss out on the fun! 

 

Grades:   Age 4 and Kindergarten

BASKETBALL SKILLS WITH MS. FRANC

Who doesn’t like to shoot some hoops, dribble the ball or watch basketball on TV or in real life? If you are one of those people who love basketball, you should join A Virtual Basketball Camp with Ms. Franc!

The camp will consist of five 55-minute long sessions filled with fun activities and drills led by a true basketball lover! Ms. Franc will help you learn and improve fundamental basketball skills like handling the ball, dribbling, passing and shooting. You will work on your footwork, agility and speed in carefully crafted drills. There will also be time for some serious defense work, since defense is as important as an offence. You will have a chance to share your favorite players and teams and do much more! All you need is a pair of sneakers and a basketball!

Grades:  Rising 3rd, 4th 5th grades
